| We are The Walks Company for You. Look at our site, see what is on offer and tell us when you are coming. We are the Walks company who specialise in walks around and within the historic City of London in England. A Place where, within one square mile, two thousand years of British History are in front of your eyes and beneath your feet. From the Romans to Richard Rogers , from the Normans to the Great Fire of London - everything is within a reasonably short distance. All walks take approximately two hours and can include a pub. For instance:-Did you know that the whole basis of the "American Declaration of Independence" came from the City, or that the "right for Juries to make their own judgements" came from here, that the sayings "let the cat out of the bag" or "you can hear a pin drop" were City sayings? If not and you would like to find out more then read on. With a history going back some two thousand years since the arrival of the Romans it is surprising how much still exists from these two millennia in the City.
